The London Group Open

The London Group was set up in 1913 with the aim of creating a powerful artist-run group to act as a counter-balance to institutions such as the Royal Academy. I didn't know much about the organisation until the exhibition selection but a few hours in the presence of their members opened my eyes to how much of a privilege it was to exhibit in the yearly open competition

The Cello Gallery is near to Waterloo station in London and was a great open and airy space, The work there spanned print, sculpture, painting and photography and was a really nicely curated exhibition
